St. Joseph's Care Group is seeking an Addiction Crisis Worker to join their team in the Safe Sobering department. The role involves providing physical well-being support to clients in the withdrawal management program. Responsibilities include admitting and assessing individuals with substance abuse issues, managing withdrawal processes, and providing support and stabilization services.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in a Human Services field, experience in behavior management, and current CPR and First Aid certification. Skills required include knowledge of addiction issues, crisis management, conflict resolution, and strong communication and time management skills. The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and good interpersonal skills are also essential.

Experience with computer-based data entry is considered an asset. Conditions of employment include passing a Police Vulnerable Sector Check, flexibility with working hours, and holding a valid Ontario driver's license.
