As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices, and initiatives within a department or program. The role involves working with a diverse team of individuals using information systems such as Workforce Management (WFM) & Connect Care to complete complex staff scheduling tasks in a busy office environment. Responsibilities include communicating with Case Managers and agencies, processing service requests, inputting data, maintaining records, and running reports. The successful candidate must be able to establish priorities, identify and resolve issues, and perform various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Some post-secondary education
Minimum of 1 year experience with Workforce Management System
Demonstrate computer knowledge and proficiency
Minimum of 3 years secretarial experience in a health-related environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Excellent time management skills
Ability to handle a variety of assignments with attention to detail
Aptitude for interpersonal relations
Physical demands include sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs., using repetitive motions, and standing for prolonged periods
Preferred Qualifications:
Finance or accounting designation
Familiarity with Continuing Care program
Familiarity with ALA policies and procedures
Familiarity with Connect Care and Homefirst
2 to 3 years of health care experience in scheduling and coordinating
Minimum of 1 year experience with Collective Agreements
