Description:

We are looking for a Clinical Scheduling Lead to join the Diagnostic Imaging Central Scheduling Team in Edmonton. This role involves providing technical expertise and operational support for scheduling services in the Edmonton Corridor. The Lead will work with various stakeholders to optimize workflows, monitor performance, and improve patient access.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will need advanced skills to support complex procedures within the Diagnostic Imaging program. The position is full-time with a temporary status and requires working various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Some post-secondary education.
  • Medical Office Assistant Certificate and Medical Terminology Certificate.
  • Minimum three years of recent Diagnostic Imaging scheduling experience.
  • Minimum five years of medical office experience.
  • Experience with Connect Care and patient information systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of legal regulations and AHS Policies.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Continued personal and professional development.
  • Ability to work onsite in a shared environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework in Project Management, Lean, AIW, or Quality Improvement.
  • Experience in developing reports and operational metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare operational metrics.
