Description:

Intertek (BML) is seeking dedicated technicians to join their team at a commercial laboratory specializing in the recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. The technicians will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are performed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

General Responsibilities:

Carry out method statements for required assays and equipment maintenance/operation

Analyze and report data in a safe and timely manner

Uphold quality control standards for accuracy of analyses

Perform fire assaying duties as needed

Troubleshoot instruments/equipment as necessary

Skill Experience Requirements:

Bachelor of Science, BCIT Assayers Certification or equivalent

1 year of lab experience

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Working knowledge of Excel and Word

Good communication and interpersonal skills

The base wage for this position ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, with compensation packages based on individual factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications. Intertek (BML) offers competitive compensation and benefits including vacation, paid sick days, and medical benefits.
