Working in the McMaster Children's Hospital Autism Program, the Autism Therapist will develop and provide treatment services and supports to children and youth (up to age 18) who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families. Services may be provided in groups as well as individually. Parent workshops and training will be an integral component of the services. The Autism Therapist will work as a member of an integrated service delivery team within The McMaster Children's Hospital Autism Program.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or college diploma with comparable training in a related field; Focus of studies should be in human behaviour and/or developmental psychology; Autism and Behavioural Sciences certificate preferred
Sound knowledge of the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis
