As a Biomedical Equipment Technologist (BMET) II at Health Shared Services, you will be responsible for providing assurance testing, maintenance, and repair of complex medical, biomedical, and electronic devices or systems at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. You must have a comprehensive knowledge of clinical practices, procedures, and equipment, along with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Your duties will include customer support, performance assurance testing, and managing the maintenance and repair of various devices according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Completion of a two-year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology.

Minimum of two years of experience working as a Biomedical Technologist in a hospital setting.

Experience with operating room equipment and proficiency in computer software applications.

Willingness to perform fieldwork at zonal sites and participate in on-call duties and after-hours work as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with OR lasers, vital signs monitors (VSMs), anesthesia machines, bladder scanners, and medical device system integration.
