Position: Biomedical Technologist

Status: Full Time

Department: Clinical Engineering

Salary: $36.84 to $50.24 per hour

Under the direction of the IMIT and Clinical Engineering Manager, the Biomedical Technologist will participate in the medical equipment management program at Brockville General Hospital. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, and conducting preventive maintenance on various electro-medical equipment, hemodialysis, and water treatment systems to ensure safe and proper function for patients and users. The employee is expected to contribute to the delivery of the BGH strategy and promote patient and family-centered engagement and care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Technology diploma or degree
  • Canadian Biomedical Engineering Certification is an asset
  • Experience in using computers in a Windows environment
