Position Summary: Under the direction of the IMIT and Clinical Engineering Manager, the Biomedical Technologist will participate in the medical equipment management program at Brockville General Hospital. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, and conducting preventive maintenance on various electro-medical equipment, hemodialysis, and water treatment systems to ensure safe and proper function for patients and users. The technologist is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the hospital's strategy.

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Technology diploma or degree

Canadian Biomedical Engineering Certification preferred

Experience with computers in a Windows environment
