The job requires a candidate with a College/CEGEP education and 3 to 5 years of experience. The work must be done on-site with no remote option available.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and determine dimensions and material requirements
Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations
Prepare engineering designs and drawings
Supervise field surveys, inspections, investigations, and testing of construction materials
Provide technical advice and professional advice
Prepare reports and statistics
Consult with clients to determine project needs
Computer and technology knowledge in GIS, 3D graphic software, and AutoCAD
Project coordination experience
Civil engineering experience in buildings, waste handling sites, and water control systems
Specialization in the green economy sector and environmental skills
Qualifications:
Willingness to travel with a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and creativity
