Avant Respiratory is seeking a Clinical Administrator to join our team in Nanaimo, Canada, providing sleep therapy services for snoring and sleep apnea. The role involves administrative tasks, patient interaction, and clinic maintenance to support our Respiratory Therapists and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling referrals, booking appointments, and updating patient charts.
Assisting patients with insurance pre-authorizations and claim approvals.
Meeting with patients to advise on equipment usage.
Providing day-to-day staff support and reviewing clinical activity data.
Creating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining equipment.
Ensuring clinic appearance and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of professional administrative experience required.
Healthcare or sleep therapy experience is an asset but not required.
Working knowledge of EMR systems preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to learn quickly in a changing environment.
Professional interpersonal skills and strong customer service values.
Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to multitask, assess situations, and prioritize tasks.
Wage: $19-$22/hr
Monday-Friday, Full-time, permanent position with benefits and RRSP after 3 months.
