The salary range for this position is CAD $40.75/Hr. - CAD $50.87/Hr. Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to work at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC. The Clinical Dietitian will provide clinical dietetic services to patients and patient care programs, collaborate with the healthcare team, and participate in research projects.
Qualifications
Current full registration as a Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Restricted Activities A and/or C may be required.
Valid BC Driver's License may be required for local area travel.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of clinical dietetic theory and practice within a patient and family centred model of care.
Demonstrated ability to assess client responses to care plan and respond appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and work direction.
Demonstrated physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Demonstrated skill and ability to operate related equipment and techniques appropriate to clinical areas.
Demonstrated ability to operate a computerized patient information system.
