Description:

Providence Care Hospital is seeking a Clinical Extern and Student Pathway Supervisor for a temporary full-time position lasting up to 18 months. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Enhanced Extern Program, nursing externs, mobility externs, student placement coordination, and recruitment and retention programs for nursing and allied health. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a Health Care Discipline, current registration with the Ontario professional college, recent clinical experience, and leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of quality, person-centered services to patients and families
  • Facilitate recruitment processes and create job descriptions
  • Support the achievement of strategic priorities and organizational values
  • Manage portfolio budget and oversee orientation and learning resources for students
