Description:

The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for planning, designing, developing, training, implementing, evaluating, and supporting clinical information systems initiatives. This role involves collaborating with clinicians, IT professionals, and healthcare administrators to optimize health information systems and decision-support tools.

Required

  • Education:
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in the health sciences field (required).
  • Preference for formal education in clinical informatics.
  • Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical processes.
  • Proficiency in Cerner EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
