Description:

The Clinical Leader for CV Program Critical Care (CVICU and CICU) collaborates with the Clinical Manager to support and promote quality care delivery for patients and families in the adult critical care subspecialties of cardiology and cardiac surgery. The Clinical Leader fosters a collaborative environment where staff are actively involved in operational and quality objectives. Responsibilities include managing staffing resources, care delivery, quality indicators, team building, identifying resource needs, providing performance feedback, managing operational flow, and supporting staff in problem-solving.

Qualifications for this role include a Baccalaureate degree in a Health Discipline or relevant academic background, 5 years of recent Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery critical care experience, leadership skills, creativity in patient care delivery, quality improvement program facilitation, excellence in communication and conflict resolution, critical thinking skills, knowledge of interdisciplinary healthcare teams, ability to access hospital resources, commitment to continuous education, and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of HHS.
