Bayshore Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Manager for their Transitional Care Unit in Ottawa to lead operations and support a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support front-line staff to ensure care delivery aligns with provincial legislation, professional standards, and Bayshore policies.
  • Oversee clinical operations, patient assessments, care plans, treatments, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement patient satisfaction initiatives and resolve patient concerns.
  • Liaise with hospital partners, funders, and government programs for coordinated care.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and infection control protocols.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and conduct audits to evaluate unit performance.
  • Support business development initiatives and participate in strategic planning.
  • Coordinate staff cross-training and maintain databases with patient and staff information.
  • Engage in professional development activities and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Qualifications:

  • Nursing diploma from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Ontario.
  • 5-10 years of progressive healthcare experience.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care practices, and infection control.
  • Leadership style reflecting compassion, excellence, and reliability.
  • Experience in discharge planning and team-based care environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business technologies.
