Nanaimo Regional General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader to provide leadership in the day-to-day operations of an assigned unit/service area. The role involves coordinating and facilitating daily clinical activities, supervising staff, and contributing to quality and risk management activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience: Graduation from a recognized nursing program plus three (3) to five (5) years' recent related experience, including two (2) years relevant clinical experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Skills And Abilities: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to supervise, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work, use a collaborative approach to problem-solving, employ human relation skills including conflict resolution, and contribute to the professional and organizational vision for clinical practice and patient care.
