Description: Unity Health Toronto, which includes Providence Healthcare, St. Joseph's Health Centre, and St. Michael's Hospital, is dedicated to improving the health of urban communities and beyond. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide direct patient care, manage drug therapy, and ensure positive health outcomes for patients. You will also support educational and research programs, develop pharmacy practice standards, and promote safe and cost-effective drug use within the hospital.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in managing drug therapy for Respirology/Cystic Fibrosis patients

Review medication orders and resolve drug-related problems

Facilitate safe and appropriate drug use throughout the hospital

Participate in educational and research programs

Develop and implement standards and guidelines for drug therapy

Qualifications:

Registered pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a teaching hospital setting

Experience in Respirology, Cystic Fibrosis, or General medical-inpatient care preferred

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Commitment to patient and student teaching
