The Clinical Quality Consultant role within the Integrated Quality Management (IQM) portfolio in the Edmonton Zone offers a unique opportunity to work in various healthcare settings and collaborate with staff and leaders at different levels. This position focuses on fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement and supporting clinical teams across the organization. Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Patient Safety, the Consultant plays a crucial role in advancing patient safety culture by collaborating with stakeholders, influencing change management, and facilitating quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to influence culture change and strategic program development.
Facilitate the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives related to service improvement, patient safety, and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree in a health care or related field and registration with a professional college.
Minimum of 5 years of recent diverse clinical and/or managerial healthcare experience.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and team building skills.
Ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships and work independently or collaboratively.
Proficiency in group facilitation, data analysis, and communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Connect Care, and ability to work in various settings.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and change management skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based practice, accreditation principles, and quality methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in clinical field, business, or healthcare administration.
