Description:

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator III for the Cancer Clinical Research Unit at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This permanent full-time position involves collaborating with Investigators and the healthcare team to manage and coordinate multiple clinical studies in the Department of Medical Oncology, specifically with the Melanoma disease site team.

Duties:

  • Recruitment of study participants, patient assessment, and obtaining informed consent
  • Coordination of patient visit schedules as per study protocol
  • Execution of study visits, including adverse event assessment, safety monitoring, and sample collection
  • Clinical care for patients in clinical trials and data collection
  • Other study-related activities as required
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health or science-related discipline
  • Certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA)
  • Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of clinical experience
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience in oncology with knowledge in melanoma
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Autonomous clinical critical thinking ability
  • Proficiency with MS Office software
