The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Pharmacy HSC Adult Inpatients Liaison to join their team at the Health Sciences Centre. The successful candidate will provide quality clinical pharmacy services to patients within their designated clinical practice area and serve as a regional expert in pharmacy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and leadership to pharmacist team members
Contribute to the development of evidence-based pharmacy practices
Serve as a resource and provide educational programs to pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals
Experience:
Minimum of four years of recent clinical experience in direct patient care
One or more years of experience in the designated clinical practice area(s)
Education:
Pharmacy degree from an accredited Canadian university
Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency program preferred
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Manitoba
Qualifications and Skills:
Leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
Excellent clinical practice skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and respond to changing situations
Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
Physical Requirements:
Able to work under stress and time constraints
May be required to work various shifts and extended hours
Exposure to infectious diseases, blood, noise, and physical stress
Ability to travel to multiple sites within the WRHA
