Description:
This job posting is for a Clinical Services Coordinator position at River Park Gardens, part of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and Manager Health Services, providing leadership, operational oversight, education coordination, and infection control coordination. The role involves achieving excellence in resident-centered care, staff education, operational efficiencies, and continuous quality improvement.
Experience
Minimum four years management experience in health care, preferably in long-term care or geriatrics.
Minimum four years clinical experience in a gerontological or long-term care environment.
Experience applying evidence-based information in a healthcare environment.
Experience in the use of electronic health records.
Experience in the effective application of infection control measures.
Experience in providing education, training, and mentorship for the professional development of others.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Bachelor degree in Nursing required.
Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Advanced courses in gerontology preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Current registration with CRNM.
