Description:

The Health Care Operations department of WorkSafeBC is seeking a Co-op Student to join the team and assist in processing accounts for health care expenses related to claims. This temporary eight-month opportunity starts in May 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing health care accounts for injured workers.
  • Determine the validity of health care charges.
  • Streamline workflow processes by gathering and testing data.
  • Prepare and send correspondence to claimants and related parties.
  • Identify and correct incorrectly billed accounts.
  • We're Looking For People Who Can:

  • Use analytical skills to review data.
  • Demonstrate quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Work with limited supervision.
  • Your Background And Experience:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical skills are an asset.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
  • Some coding experience/interest is an asset.

    Salary: $23.05/hourly
