The salary for this position ranges from $69,218 to $99,501 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinates and supports the delivery of MSOHSW program activities.

Maintains tracking system for metrics and compiles data for initiatives.

Provides advice and recommendations based on data analysis.

Leads coordination of OHS projects and initiatives.

Supports violence prevention training and campaigns.

Assists with program document development and maintenance.

Coordinates data collection for program planning and evaluation.

Builds effective relationships with internal and external partners.

Applies knowledge of OHS principles and standards to support program implementation.

Travels regionally as needed to support program activities.

The salary range for this position is $69,218 (min) to $86,522 (midpoint) to $99,501 (max) per annum, based on 1.0 FTE. How Will You Create An Impact The Coordinator, Medical Staff Occupational Health, Safety &amp; Wellness (Coordinator) is a key member of the Medical Staff Occupational Health, Safety &amp; Wellness (MSOHSW) program team. Reporting to the Specialist, MSOHSW, the Coordinator supports the operational delivery of initiatives that promote the safety, health, and wellness of medical staff.

The Coordinator contributes to the advancement and continuous improvement of MSOHSW program priorities, including regulatory compliance, violence prevention, physician safety and wellness initiatives, and the promotion of psychologically safe work environments.

The Coordinator collaborates with members of the MSOHSW Internal Working Group, Workplace Health &amp; Safety (WHS), Medical Affairs, operational leaders, and internal and external partners to support the implementation and sustainment of an occupational health and safety framework aligned with WorkSafeBC requirements, organizational priorities, and commitments outlined in the Physician Main Agreement.

What Will You Work On

Coordinates and supports the delivery of MSOHSW program activities aligned with organizational and provincial priorities.
 Maintains the tracking system for relevant metrics, accesses and compiles data for various initiatives.
 Maintains reports and statistics and conducts research/troubleshooting as needed.
 Provides advice and recommendations to the Specialist, Medical Staff OHS&amp;W through analysis and interpretation of Provincial Medical Staff Dashboard data, identifying trends, compliance gaps, emerging issues, and opportunities for targeted action and program improvement.
 Provides leadership in the coordination of assigned Medical Staff OHS&amp;W projects and initiatives, such as fit testing and immunization, including monitoring compliance, identifying gaps and barriers, and recommending strategies and appropriate next steps to improve compliance.
 Provides analytical support by compiling and manipulating information/data, developing and generating queries, and preparing and compiling reports.
 Receives correspondence from key partners (e.g. WSBC) and enters relevant information into appropriate database/tracking systems.
 Supports agenda development, meeting preparation, and action item tracking for Internal and Regional Working Group meetings.
 Coordinates violence prevention training initiatives and campaigns, including communications and followup with medical staff.
 Tracks and monitors Physician Invoice Portal (PIP) submissions and related documentation.
 Assists with the development of program documents, processes, standard operating procedures, presentations, and resource materials.
 Maintains and updates Medical Staff OHS&amp;W SharePoint site pages to ensure information is current, accessible, and aligned with program priorities.
 Supports campaigns related to wellness, fit testing, immunization, and workplace safety initiatives.
 Coordinates data collection and information gathering to support program planning, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.
 Liaises with site contacts, Medical Administration Assistants, operational leaders, and partners to support coordination and implementation of program activities.
 Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external partners and medical staff to support alignment, engagement, and integration of safety and wellness initiatives.
 Applies knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, WorkSafeBC standards, and occupational health and safety management systems to support effective program implementation.
