Description:

Health Shared Services (HSS) is seeking a CORE Lead to join the Clinical Operations Informatics Office (COIO), supporting Digital Health provincially for Medicine and Clinical Documentation. The role involves ensuring standardized, safe, and operationally effective clinical workflows across all care settings. The position provides informatics leadership for enterprise initiatives, optimizing digital systems and workflows for operational teams. The CORE Lead will report directly to the Executive Director and have direct report accountabilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in large complex healthcare settings and a degree in a healthcare-related field with an active professional license. They should have experience in Clinical Documentation systems, Informatics, healthcare governance, and health information management. Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, change management principles, and project management is essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills are required.

Additional qualifications include experience in mentoring, commitment to ongoing development, and willingness to travel as needed. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a Health-Related Field, a professional background in Clinical Informatics, and certifications related to leadership or change management. Experience with EPIC/Connect Care/Digital Health and preparing executive-level briefing materials is a plus.

Description:

The CORE Lead is a leadership role within the COIO team, with a provincial scope, reporting directly to the Executive Director. This is a leadership position that will have direct report accountabilities, with opportunities for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to build informatics subjectmatter expertise, strengthen change leadership capability, and ensure consistent delivery of highquality outcomes. The successful candidate is an expert in organizational change management, with a proven track record leading largescale transformational initiatives. The role focuses on the collaborative design of informatics workflows that function cohesively within an integrated digital health ecosystem. The CORE Lead provides strategic leadership in clinical informatics and operational readiness oversight for functionality within Digital Health.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience leading organizational change in a variety of large complex healthcare settings Degree in a healthcarerelated field with an active professional license or registration in good standing. Demonstrated experience with Clinical Documentation systems, Informatics, healthcare governance, and health information management. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations. Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and evaluation approaches. Experience in project management, workflow design, process improvement, and implementation of change initiatives. Excellent communication, facilitation, consensusbuilding, engagement, analytical, and problemsolving skills. Proven ability to build relationships, resolve conflict, and collaborate effectively across clinical, technical, and operational teams. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
