The job focuses on providing support in delivering and coordinating various social programs. Responsibilities include ensuring individuals are treated with dignity, providing personal care support, dispensing medication, maintaining a safe environment, performing lifts and transfers, following policies, assisting with household chores, providing transportation, participating in drills, and being a positive role model.

Other duties involve supporting individuals in achieving personal goals, advocating on their behalf, developing basic living skills, encouraging participation in social activities, and creating a therapeutic rapport. Communication tasks include completing incident reports, documenting activities, attending meetings and trainings, and working in a team environment.

The position requires a relevant certificate/diploma in Human Services or 3 years of experience working with adults living with developmental disabilities. Candidates should have experience in providing care and support for individuals with disabilities, using assistive equipment, and writing reports. Mandatory requirements include First Aid/CPR certification, a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, completion of online training, and a vulnerable sector check.

This is a one-year temporary fixed-term contract with full-time hours at 35 hours per week and a pay rate of $25.29 per hour. The target hiring range is $25.29 to $31.62, with a maximum of $37.94, based on market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
