Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping with personal care like bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and helping with light cleaning
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Accompaniment on errands or appointments
  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Supporting clients in moving safely
  • Following care plans and documenting care

    • Qualifications:

  • Health Care Aide Certificate, OR a foreign-trained nursing degree, OR be a current nursing student
  • Alberta HCA Directory registration (or ability to register)
  • CPR and First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car
