As a member of the health care team on F3 ALC unit, you will provide clinical care and support to maintain or improve a patient's functional status.
Qualifications:
Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide Certificate
Nursing student with successful completion of all level 2 courses at McMaster University
Nursing student with successful completion of all level 2 courses in the McMaster-Mohawk-Conestoga collaborative Nursing Program
2 years Clinical Health Care Aide experience preferred
Computer familiarity or willingness to learn computer skills as required
Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork skills
Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the position
Ability to accept assignment or delegated functions
Ability to set priorities and organize work accordingly
Ability to deal with various hospital departments effectively and collaboratively
Ability to lift using appropriate techniques and bend, push, and pull using good body mechanics
