If you are a Health and Safety professional with experience in construction, this job opportunity may be for you. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and improving the company's Health and Safety Program in compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and COR requirements. You will provide safety leadership and support on various commercial job sites, conduct inspections and audits, and work closely with project managers and field crews to identify and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks
Maintain COR certification and track safety performance metrics
Support return-to-work programs and promote a culture of safety
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of Health and Safety experience in construction
Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and COR certification
Experience with site inspections and safety training
Health and Safety designation preferred
Understanding of working at heights and fall protection
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
