The Rockyview General Hospital Emergency Department Health Care Aide (RGH ED HCA) is seeking a dedicated individual to deliver exceptional patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Required Qualifications:

- Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire

- Active status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

- Confirmation letter of enrolment from the Directory

- Current Heart & Stroke Foundation BCLS-HCP Certification (annual renewal)

- Nursing students enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program with 100 hours of practicum

Preferred Qualifications:

- Current RGH Emergency Department experience

- Knowledge of Emergency Department workflow, processes, supplies, and equipment

- Experience in providing direct patient care and comfort (Comfort Rounds)
