Are you seeking a fulfilling position where you can build relationships with clients and provide personalized care that truly makes a difference? Home Instead is seeking compassionate Caregivers in Wetaskiwin to join our team and help us in our mission to enhance the world's capacity for care. We offer non-medical services to support aging adults in their homes with dignity and compassion.

We have various shifts available, ranging from 3 to 12 hours, and provide services in Wetaskiwin and surrounding areas. Our Care Professionals are valued members of our team, and we prioritize their well-being as much as that of our clients.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and conversation

Personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Light housekeeping and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders

Alzheimer's care

Treating aging adults and their property with respect

Communicating with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner

Qualifications:

HCA Alberta Directory Registered

Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate

Respectful treatment of seniors and their property

Friendly and congenial communication skills

Passing a criminal background check and providing references

Access to own vehicle and valid driver's license

Excellent verbal and written English communication

Consistent availability each week

Residence in Wetaskiwin, Millet, or nearby areas

 Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check, 2 professional and personal references
 Have full access to their own vehicle and a valid driver's license for each shift
 You must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
 Must have the same availability each week
 Candidate must live in Wetaskiwin, Millet and surroundings
