Lacombe Continuing Care Facility is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) to provide personal care to residents under the direction of a registered nurse. The HCA will work as part of a team to assist patients with activities of daily living, support services, and follow patient care plans and facility policies. Responsibilities include working closely with patients, families, and caregivers, assisting with routine care, observing and reporting on patient well-being, and maintaining a safe environment.

The position is located at Lacombe Hospital & Care Centre with a temporary part-time benefits classification. The shift pattern includes days, evenings, and weekends with a minimum salary of $20.78 and a maximum of $25.26 per hour. The candidate must have a Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire and active status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. Nursing students enrolled in approved programs may also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include previous Long Term Care experience and training in CCHSS and Role-Based training. Covenant Health is the Transition Company for this position.
