This job posting is for a Health Care Aide position at Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler, Manitoba. The position is permanent with a 0.8 FTE and involves providing support and assistance to residents/patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as identified in the care plan. The incumbent must work under the leadership of Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses, providing person-centered care according to established standards of practice.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably caring for elderly or disabled clients. A Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program is required, along with a minimum Grade 12 education. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Acute Care is also necessary.

Qualifications for the position include knowledge of confidentiality/privacy requirements, workplace safety regulations, and violence prevention programs. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team, and demonstrate the ability to handle stressful situations. Proficiency in both English and French is essential for designated bilingual positions.
