This job posting is for a Health Care Aide position at the Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler, Manitoba. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to residents/patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as identified in the care plan. The role involves working under the leadership of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, following established standards of practice and maintaining competency through education and certifications.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a health care setting, preferably caring for elderly or disabled clients. Minimum qualifications include a Grade 12 education and a Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Applicants must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Acute Care. Knowledge of confidentiality/privacy requirements, workplace safety regulations, and violence prevention programs is essential. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are required, along with the ability to work in stressful environments and respect cultural diversity.

Physical requirements include the ability to meet the demands of the job, work evenings, nights, and weekends, and travel to other regional facilities as needed.
