This job posting is for a Health Care Aide position at Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg. The Health Care Aide will work under the supervision of the Director Health Services, RN, and/or LPN to assist with patient care and provide basic supportive care. The successful candidate will need to have previous patient/resident care experience, a recognized Health Care Aide course, and a minimum Grade 10 education.

Physical Requirements

Involves physical activities such as standing, transferring, and transporting patients/residents and equipment.

May encounter aggressive and/or agitated individuals.

May encounter exposure to disease, toxic materials, noise, allergens, etc.

Requires shift work, extended working hours.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
