This job posting is for a Health Care Aide position at River Park Gardens in Winnipeg, under the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will provide resident care and basic supportive care as directed, working as part of the health care team.

Experience in resident care is preferred, along with a minimum Grade 10 education and successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course. Training will be provided on various topics within the probation period.

Qualifications and skills required include knowledge of the Personal Health Information Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System, and Principles of Routine Practices, as well as excellent English language skills. Preference will be given to those competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs.

The position involves extensive physical activity such as lifting and transferring residents and equipment. A current Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are required as conditions of employment.
