Assisted Living Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide to join the Home Living team to provide professional support services in clients' homes. The role involves providing personal care and support in a community setting, following an established plan of care. The Health Care Aide will work under the supervision of a regulated health professional and may perform assigned restricted activities. Documentation of care provision and participation in relevant in-service education are required.

As a Health Care Aide, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide personal assistance and support services to patients in accordance with the patient care plan and facility policies. You will assist with routine care, organized activities, and observe and report on patients' well-being. The position requires maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors, as well as effective communication with patients and health care professionals.

Until proof of HCA certification is provided, new hires will be paid at the uncertified pay grade according to the AUPE AUX Collective Agreement.
