Lifestyle Options Retirement Communities is seeking a Health Care Aide to join their team in Leduc on a part-time basis. The role involves providing personalized care to residents under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse and Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care based on individualized care plans
Support daily living needs such as personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and recreational activities
Administer medication assistance following current standards
Perform delegated procedures to meet resident needs
Communicate observations and concerns to healthcare professionals
Accurately document service hours and activities
Qualifications:
Certified Health Care Aide registered with the Alberta HCA Directory
Experience in elderly, disabled, and palliative care preferred
Ability to deliver person-centered care and involve residents and families in care planning
Strong communication skills in English and emotional intelligence
Adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards
