HEU 020H26 is a regular full-time Nursing Unit Assistant position at Central City Lodge. The role involves working under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide routine nursing procedures and care for residents' personal needs and comfort.
Qualifications:
Grade 10 education or equivalent
Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program
Registration with the BC Care Aide and Health Worker Registry
Skills and Abilities:
Effective communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Physical capability to perform job duties
Strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to residents
Assist with meal service and feeding residents
Transfer residents using proper techniques and equipment
Assist with residents' mobility and exercise routines
Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Observe and report any changes in residents' condition
Assist in emergency situations and care plan modifications
Perform other duties as assigned
