Fraser Health is currently seeking a Casual Health Care Assistant, Acute to join the Renal Services team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre in Abbotsford, B.C. The salary range for this position is CAD $31.64 per hour.

The Health Care Assistant will work in an acute department under the direction of a nurse, providing personal care to patients, documenting patient progress, assisting with meals, transporting patients, and performing general duties. Responsibilities include toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, observing and reporting patient progress, measuring vital signs, documenting patient charts, and more.

Qualifications for this position include a Grade 10 education, graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant program or equivalent experience, registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry, and current Food Safe Level One certification.
