Develop, implement and manage effective safety systems in collaboration with a team of professionals
Support site leaders in all safety-related aspects
Be the health and safety reference for site leaders
Ensure that newly identified risks are effectively managed
Deliver safety orientation training
Participate in joint health and safety committee meetings
Promote Premier Tech's Culture and Values
Set the tone for safety by demonstrating safe behaviors and inspiring others to follow
Create engaging and impactful content (including PowerPoint presentations) that supports learning and collaboration
Learn and manage the organization's accident management software, serving as the key contact and system expert for assigned sites
Build positive, trusting relationships by acting as a supportive health and safety advisor, helping managers and teams integrate safety into daily operations
Required Skills
Diploma in HR or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong, trusting relationships
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Effective communication abilities, both written and oral
Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office -- Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Willingness to travel to worksites in Western Canada and USA, up to 40% of the time
Valid class five driver's license
Bilingual in English and French (an asset)
