The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr. Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Central Intake team at the Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre in Vancouver, BC. As an Intake Nurse, you will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to conduct centralized intake functions, perform initial screening, triage, and referrals, educate clients and families, provide information to health providers and the public, and maintain accurate intake data and statistics.

Qualifications:

Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Three (3) years recent related experience in the designated clinical program area or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client and family-centered care model.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, problem solve, and work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position and operate related equipment.

Demonstrated computer literacy to operate a computerized client care information system and various software applications.
