Qualicare Home Care is currently seeking compassionate Caregivers and Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team and provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients in the community. Various shifts available (days, nights, 4-5 hour shifts, up to 8-12 hour shifts, etc). No 1-2 hour shifts! We serve the following areas: North York, Toronto, Etobicoke, Brampton.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Support client with activities of daily living, not limited to:
Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Medication Reminders
Ambulation of client
Companionship to client
Ability to follow care-plan
Documentation/Charting
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (eg. foreign trained nurse)
Current CPR/First Aid training
Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one
