Description:

We are seeking an individual to join our dynamic vascular surgery and ultrasound lab practice in a hands-on clinical support role. Ideally, you will have completed a Kinesiology degree and are seeking an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world healthcare setting while building your professional career in the medical field. We require strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to function in an electronic medical records setting. This position will combine performing Doppler studies with ankle pressure measurements, assisting the surgeon with in-office laser procedures, assisting with cosmetic sclerotherapy, and completing general medical office duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Doppler studies with ankle pressure measurements
  • Assist surgeon in laser ablation procedures for varicose veins
  • Assist surgeon in cosmetic sclerotherapy
  • Manage electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Schedule appointments using PSSuite
  • Assist with patient registration, data entry, and updating personal information
  • Work with administrative staff in general office tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries professionally
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care, including follow-up appointments
  • Perform payment transactions
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Compassionate patient care experience and customer service orientation with a varied demographic
  • Ability to consistently review, analyze and present ways to improve protocols and routines
  • Availability to work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Possibility to lead to full-time. Reliable and punctual
  • Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
  • CPR certification
  • Strong interest in cardiovascular health and vascular medicine
  • Ability to work effectively individually or in a team setting to achieve optimal results. Training provided to the right applicant.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 24 -- 40 per week
