McRina Laboratories is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various analytical testing tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory processes. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the laboratory environment. The position requires working a Tuesday-Saturday shift.
Duties
Operate and maintain necessary instruments and equipment
Responsible for calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments
Follow SOP's, perform sample preparation, and testing procedures
Meet quality and TAT specifications
Follow laboratory safety protocols
Clean and sterilize laboratory instruments and workspaces
Clean glassware and equipment, maintain cleanliness
Perform any other assigned responsibilities
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Diploma or higher education in a related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in analytical testing lab
Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred
Knowledge of chemical terminology required
Ability to perform analytical testing procedures safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good English communication skills
Ability to handle pressure and work independently or as part of a team
Strong work ethic and willingness to take on varied tasks
