Certified Group is a leading provider of laboratory testing, regulatory consulting, and certification services for various industries. We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our team and conduct routine sample analysis under the supervision of the Manager, Analytical.
Responsibilities:
Perform sample analysis using assigned instrumentation
Process and review analytical data
Prepare standards and QC samples
Maintain laboratory equipment
Support QC investigations and audits
Maintain accurate records
Coordinate with Supervisors for supplies
Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
Collaborate with team members
Follow laboratory quality policies and safety requirements
Perform other assigned duties
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred
Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology or similar discipline considered
Chemical Engineering degree may be considered
Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted
Experience:
Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices
Understanding of analytical measurements
Ability to prioritize tasks in a laboratory setting
Relevant laboratory experience is an asset
