Eupraxia is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing locally delivered, extended-release products to address therapeutic areas with high unmet medical need. They are seeking an experienced Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of their R&D laboratory in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

The Lab Manager will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant laboratory operations, manage equipment and inventory, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory safety and quality. Reporting to the Associate Director, Pharmaceutical Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with safety regulations, developing safety protocols, managing chemical inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving, and tracking the operating budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field with 3-5 years (Bachelor's) or 2 years (Master's) of laboratory management experience. Experience with international shipping logistics, analytical chemistry, or biological assays is advantageous.

The salary range for this position is CAD $70,000-130,000 annually, with bonuses based on performance and a competitive benefits package offered.
