Responsibilities:

  • Assure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Provide education and competency documentation
  • Implement and maintain the laboratory Quality Improvement Program
  • Investigate, collect, and analyze data to improve patient care
  • Obtain accurate and timely compilation of laboratory data
  • Format Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Improvement (QI) spreadsheets and maintain files and reports for laboratory administration
  • Develop education offerings, coordinate education activities, and monitor team member compliance to mandatory training

    Experience:

  • Required - 4 years of Laboratory experience

    • Education:

  • Required - Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or Related Field

    • Certification:

  • Required - State of Florida License for Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology, Microbiology, and Hematology) or Cytogenetics

    • Location: St. Joseph's Hospital / Hybrid

    Status: Full Time, Exempt

    Shift Hours: Days

    Weekend Work: None
