SAIT's School of Manufacturing and Automation is seeking a Lab Technician (Millwright I) to provide maintenance and service support to the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Machinist programs. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing equipment, providing technical support, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring safety compliance.

The role involves performing maintenance and repairs to equipment, controlling inventory, preparing demonstration equipment, and conducting safety inspections. The Lab Technician will also be responsible for purchasing materials and tooling, maintaining supply levels, and working with stockkeepers.

Qualifications for this position include being a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) with a Red Seal certification, holding a Class 5 Driver's license, and having Emergency First Aid training. The salary for this position is $78,811.10, with 40 hours per week.
