JOB SUMMARY

The Laser Therapist will be an integral part of a dynamic, highperforming healthcare team, working closely with skilled professionals to administer BIOFLEX® Laser Therapy and support patients in achieving optimal health, recovery, and wellbeing.

In this role, the Laser Therapist will play a key part in enhancing patient outcomes while contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence, and personalized care. They will be responsible for delivering high quality, tailored treatments with compassion and professionalism. Additionally, the Laser Therapist is expected to proactively seek opportunities for improvement, continuously refining techniques and approaches to achieve the best possible results for our patients.

Duties

Administer Laser Therapy to patients under the medical supervision of MDs, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring highquality treatment.
 Provide exceptional patientcentered care by building strong, supportive relationships with patients, addressing concerns and answering questions to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
 Take proactive responsibility to connect with patients who have paused or discontinued treatment, encouraging them to resume their care plan and stay on track for the best results.
 Take proactive responsibility to follow up patients for missing appointments and assist in rescheduling to adhere to the treatment plan advised by the clinicians.
 Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all patients, providing them with the World Renowned BIOFLEX Laser Therapy experience.
 Track patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed, and ensuring all changes are reviewed with the supervising healthcare provider.
 Maintain precise and uptodate patient records, detailing treatment, progress, and any protocol changes.
 Actively engaging with the patients in educating about their conditions and the benefits of Laser Therapy, so they adhere and understand their treatment.
 Provide guidance on appropriate physical activities based on the patient's recovery stage.
 Deliver Laser Therapy as per established safety regulations, standards, and procedures for quality compliance, whilst ensuring a safe and effective treatment environment.
 Ensure a clean, secure setting, preventing accidents, and promptly addressing any equipment or supply issues.
 Address clinical questions to patients and redirect treatment protocol inquiries to clinicians appropriately to ensure treatment is properly completed.
 Consistently meet targets and deliver results that contribute to the clinic's growth and reputation by participating in the initiatives of patient reactivations, postcard marketing, email campaigns, patient testimonials, and family &amp; friend's referrals.
 Uphold professional ethics, consistently demonstrate high ethical standards in all patient and staff interactions. Your commitment to professionalism is vital to maintaining trust and fostering a positive clinic environment.
 Take ownership of additional responsibilities. Be prepared to handle all assigned tasks with excellence, ensuring timely completion and high performance. Your proactive attitude and results driven approach will be critical to overall team success.

Qualifications

University degree in healthrelated field or Medical or Healthcare related qualifications (i.e. Physiotherapy Assistant, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Massage Therapy, Human Anatomy).
 Minimum 2year experience in a clinical setting.
 Handson experience in delivering patientcentered care.
 Participate in weekend shifts on a rotating schedule and as required. Expect to be scheduled for a minimum of one Saturday shift per month.
 Experience in BIOFLEX Laser Therapy and JaneApp scheduling software is an asset.
