The salary range for this position is CAD $59.59/Hr. - CAD $85.65/Hr. Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to join the Mental Health and Substance Use team at Lions Gate Hospital. The Manager will provide leadership to a frontline clinical patient care department, supervise Nurses, and deliver services through multidisciplinary teams in an acute and/or community-based setting.

This role involves operations management, planning, implementation, and evaluation of services related to utilization and risk management, quality improvement, and addressing client needs. The Manager will lead an interdisciplinary team to achieve excellence in client and family-centered care within a complex multi-site environment.

Qualifications:

Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical professional area with 7-10 years of recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience

Current registration/membership with a recognized professional association

Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs

Other qualifications include the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage clinical programs, develop strong relationships, promote diversity and inclusion, and understand resource utilization. The Manager must also have the physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers at Vancouver Coastal Health must report past receipt of certain vaccines or history of infections. New hires will be required to provide this information during onboarding.
